01.31.07 Different Strokes for Different Folks
Texum's debut album Different Strokes for Different Folks will be released on the Swedish Rootsy label on February 5th. The album, which is the band's first long player, is produced by the band themselves, and mixed in one of the last great American studios, Chicago Recording Company, by Chris Shepard, of Wilco and Elvis Costello fame.

Live on regional radio show Endelig Fredag
The band will appear on the radio broadcasting show Endelig Fredag, on February 2nd, to talk about the release of their forthcoming album. The band will also be performing one of their songs live on the show. The show airs on NRK Trøndelag at 16.15 to 17.30.

Tour dates announced
On Saturday February 3rd, Texum will kick off a nation-wide tour to support their forthcoming album, Different Strokes for Different Folks. The tour dates span a geographical range from Rognan in the north, to Halden in the South and Bergen in the west. Be sure to check out the band when they arrive in your home town.

New Strokes from Old Folks
Pedal steel guitarist Dag Jonas Skjølsvold has left the band, and will be replaced by the talented multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Einar Lian. Mr. Lian is one of the founding members of Texum, and is also playing the drums on the new record. Welcome back, Einar, and thanks for great playing this far, Dag Jonas!
